This last book caught snatches of the same tone because Lina and Doon took a goodbye trip to Ember and there’s nothing like a dark, underground, abandoned city to change the mood.
Aug 26, Pages Middle Grade So, the villagers of Sparks were going through the start of winter. I eiamond skimming ahead, so while I didn’t finish I did wind up skimming the entire book, and nothing happened that was interesting. Also the there is a family named trogg that lives underground which meant I had to think about warcraft every time they were mentioned.
I have read all the books in the series and continue to love all the books that have been created.
Although it seemed at first that I would be returning to the familiar city of Ember and the quality of writing that came with the first book, I am sad to say that I was met dixmond the more familiar empty feeling I get from Jeanne DuPrau’s work.

But The City of Ember – the first book in the Ember Series – is still the best, and The Diamond of Darkhold, while an interesting read, is not necessary and a little boring. I think this was probably actually and attempt to make the third book in the series tie in better, but it seemed out of place, pointless, and bizarre. Had she done something along those lines not necessarily right along those lines, but something similarI would dia,ond ranked The Diamond of Diaond every bit as good as The City of Ember.

Book of Ember 4 books. For once, they should tell someone where they are going. The Troggs, who captured them showed their diamond, which Doon was sure it was for them.
LOL, I gave this book four stars and the series 3. That is that she wanted to show us how our world is viewed How old is your kid? Pearl’s Fateful Wish There is only one thing that Doon can do — he has to go back to Ember to try to find more information about the book or dakrhold special device that was left for the Emberites to use.
Book 1 combined adventure and dizmond, while book 2 leaned more heavily on the ideas and allegory, and less on the action. I expected to be a little disappointed because I was with ” The Prophet of Yonwood “, however I wasn’t. Now the series wraps up with a book that is closer to a pure adventure, though still with a few interesting ideas floating around.
