This is exactly what he goes on to do, beginning with a discussion of the most common profitable flop situations in which an Omaha player may find himself. His approach is similar, identifying the most profitable post-flop situations and then working backwards to derive a pre-flop strategy. I will check out RIO.
Most of Hwang’s big play strat is aimed at full ring live games, and while the info is hwnag and relevant, I can’t imagine someone beating 6-max PLO online by employing only his strat.
I had to read it again. Be the first to ask a question about Pot-Limit Omaha Poker. It’s second only to Cincinnati as my favorite poker variant and no one plays Cincinnati anymore, not even in Europeand I play Omaha and Omaha-split tournaments whenever I can.

One weakness in particular that shows up in some of the sample hands is an eagerness to bet big and take down the pot in situations where a hand is likely to be way ahead or way behind of an opponent.
